Nick's BMW E46

2001 BMW 330ci
As many of you may already know, the E46 chassis has most likely become one of the more popular BMW chassis to date. It is definitely a common sight on the road and for good reason. The body lines of the E46 are simple yet timeless and apart from the few known mechanical issues, these cars are pretty strong and dependable. This is Nick's 330ci and he has kept it simple and yet it still catches your eye and holds your attention. "They've always been my favourite.." Nick says referring to the E46 chassis. Looking for an E46 from day one he finally found a clean one locally that he could pick up for a good deal. Nick quickly decided on a set of wheels and coilovers to improve the E46 body lines even further. Going with a set of powdered coated Gold RN006's was a fantastic idea and definitely matches this car to perfection.
Nick then decided to make a colour change and went with one of my personal favourites, Black Rose. There's something about this colour that makes any car look spectacular without being obnoxious and screaming for attention. The combination of this fantastic colour choice with the BBS's make this E46 pop! Unfortunately our shooting day had a mixture of sand and strong winds which left this beauty a little dusty and a little tricky to capture the true beauty of this car. This car really needs to be seen in person as it is absolute perfection. Nick didn't stop with the colour combination. He also decided to do an Active Autowerke's Stage 1 tune and an AFE intake. On the exterior, Nick went with a CSL Ducktail trunk that definitely separates this E46 from the others on the street. Future plans have Nick thinking of switching up the wheels, throwing on an M3 rear bumper and maybe adding a Borla exhaust. All very smart decisions that I'm sure will improve this already good looking car to the next stage. Nick has done a great job at keeping his car simple and changing little things that set his E46 apart from the rest.
