2006 BMW Z4
There's something about a convertible car that most people aren't too privileged to know (myself included). I can only imagine dropping the top on a summer day or starry evening, cruising down the freeway with some tunes blaring. Sounds extraordinary doesn't it? Now imagine that same convertible, dropped to the ground with an exhilarating sounding exhaust and a gorgeous set of wheels fitted on.
This lifestyle is something that Oliver is lucky enough to experience on a regular basis. This is his Z4 and it's one of the most beautiful BMW's I've ever seen.
"We've always liked german cars in our family.." Oliver states when discussing how he came upon the decision to buy a Z4. "It was between a Mark V GTI and this.." After searching for a good amount of time, a clean one finally popped up in North Carolina.
Realizing the car was traded in to a wholesaler by the original owner, Oliver quickly got in touch to make the purchase. Traveling down right before New Year's was a journey in on itself, but Oliver and his father made the trip down and a few hours later the car was purchased and was now on it's way home.
With such an already fantastic looking car, it's hard to see what additions could be done to improve what already is a timeless design. Oliver decided to go with coilovers to have his Z sitting as well as it looks.
In addition to the coilovers, Oliver decided to throw a set of Work VS-XX's on to really compliment the body lines. He also added a few subtle additions to the body such as an antenna delete and colour match side markers. Around the back he added a full 3" Catback straight pipe exhaust which produces a really pretty sound.
The E85 chassis has always been one of my favourites. With it's clean body lines and aggressive styling it's hard-if not impossible-to find any flaws with this car.
Oliver has done a fantastic job in maintaining the look of his Z4. Making very impressive yet subtle additions to create a car that not only has me speechless but many at all the shows he brings this beauty to.
