Wys's BMW E30..The Progression - Checking In

It's been a little while since we've last seen Wys's E30 on the site. Last time his E30 was featured, the idea of an engine swap was at the forefront of his mind. As you can clearly see, he fulfilled this idea.
What you see here is the M50 he decided to go with. The swap was done, for the majority, by himself with a little help from friends for a few things. As of right now the E30 is running better then it ever has. Of course with any swap, one of the tasks was to clean the engine bay up before the swap was done. Wys decided to delete a lot of unnecessary accessories to give the bay a little more working room.
He then decided to paint the bay as well as the valve cover for a little more of a personal touch. Another change I'm sure you'll have noticed is the changed wheels. Last time this car was on the site, it was sporting a set of Wagen wheels. Those have been changed out for a set of Work Ewing wheels, refinished in gold faces with polished lips.
It's impressive, how this car can accomplish the difficult task of constant improvements. Wys obviously has a keen eye for good choices and the knowledge to accomplish his goals. I wonder if he'll stop here or continue building upon what is already one of the better E30 examples out there. I know he keeps bringing up the turbo idea. I guess we'll have to wait and see, stay tuned!
