Quinnton's BMW E46

Every once in a while you'll come across a car that will not only make you take a second look but will also make you question exactly what you're seeing.
One of those cars is this E46 you're looking at here. This is Quinnton's slammed 3 series and it is definitely one of a kind.
This is Quinnton's third car, having previously owned two Subaru Foresters, he was in need of a change from the lowered wagon lifestyle. Wanting something RWD, a little more sporty and liking the way the E46 chassis looked, Quinnton was sold on the idea of owning his first BMW.
As a spur of the moment thing, Quinnton sold his Forester and started looking for an E46. Quickly spotting this Mystic Blue Metallic one and instantly knowing this was the car for him. Soon this beauty was his and of course the work began to make it his own.
There's something about the idea of "not giving a fuck" and being different then the others around. Quinnton has taken this mindset into his car; stating that by no means was this to be a "show car". He just wanted to create something that he'd enjoy driving everyday. That's right, this car is a daily driver and driven with enjoyment regardless of what others may think. There are those that would see this car and say he's ruined it or it's useless now. Quinnton simply doesn't pay attention to those comments. He's created a car that is his own and to me it's good to see something different on the roads. There are too many people that create cars for others enjoyment. They'll create the perfect "show car" and trailer it to and from shows but never use the car as it's meant to be used. In many ways, this is what I feel takes the soul away from a car. Quinnton has done the complete opposite and has injected his own spirit into a car that in stock form would normally pass you by without a bat of an eye.
Starting with a set of BC Racing Extreme Low's t0-as you can already see-absolutely slam the hell out of the car. The way this car sits would put the bagged guys in an envious frenzy. Next was to add a ZHP front bumper which is one of four different bumpers that have been on this car and have unfortunately been destroyed, like I said its daily driven. Future plans have this E46 maybe getting a wheel set up change. Quinnton is also flirting with the idea of a wide body kit to make this car even more different then the others cruising on the streets.
Regardless of those future plans, as it stands this E46 is a car that does two things. One; yes it will unfortunately offend those purists out there. But the second thing this car does well is inspire. It is a car that inspires people such as myself to enjoy the vehicles that we drive on a day to day basis. It should remind people that our cars are in many ways a reflection of our personalities. Quinnton is a guy that has created a car that will not only turn a bunch of heads, but remind people to enjoy what they're driving and more importantly make it different then the average mundane cars we always see. Simply put, this car is a self expressed form of inspiration and I hope it will inspire those out there to follow Quinnton's path and create a car that is not only something they enjoy but a form of self expression.
